Shop Hop

It's that time of year again. This weekend is the 2nd annual LYS Shop Hop!! I'm just sending out a reminder because I know all of you will want to go!! The dates are October 12, 13 & 14. And the shops are:

Needlework Unlimited
Sheepy Yarn Shoppe
3 Kittens Needle Arts
The Yarnery
Zandy's Yarn


And now for the fun stuff. There are prizes! At each shop you visit there will be Tools of the Trade given away (for example, the Yarnery is giving stitch markers). And for those of you who might say that you already have these items? All I have to say is who doesn't like free stuff and who couldn't use an extra tape measure? I lose mine all the time!

Finally I need to direct your attention to the fabulous idea Maura had. A bus! That's right, a bus. On Saturday, for a fee, you can hop on the bus at Cub Foods at the HarMar Mall and knit you way around the Twin Cities as it takes you to all of the wonderful shops. Shelly Kang (a well known sock knitter) will be the hostess with the mostess on the bus. And doing it this way guarantees you entry in the grand prize drawing because our bus will get you to each and every shop!!

And what a great way to be with other knitters... bring your socks!! So call and register for the bus... It's going to be a great time!! and space is limited.
