I'm working on these socks I started at the end of August. The pattern is Pomatomus, modified to be 10 stitch instead of 12 stitch repeat and worked toe-up using the Riverbed architecture from "New Pathways for Sock Knitters". The yarn is Interlacements Tiny Toes that I bought last year while visiting my family in Ohio. This is a good color for fall. I hope to finish in the next few days so I can start on my newest sock yarn purchase, Claudia Handpaints. The color is called Taupe, but I think it looks a little more like Cedar. I usually buy much more colorful yarn, but this looked like a good color for fall. Now I just have to pick a pattern. I think I'll pick something a little easier so I can finish them by the end of October.

Rebecca! Check out that progress. Looks like your modification worked well for your foot. Hey, perhaps you'll inspire Deepa to finish her second Pomatomus.. :)
Excuse me while I stare in awe at your modifications.
