Well, so far the plan to finish up some socks is going well. I managed to complete 3 last week. (This week's going a little more slowly.) From left to right: Fiesta Yarns Boomerang in Rain Forest (with eye of the partridge heel and toe); Fearless Fibers Superwash Merino Sportweight in October; and, from Knit Socks!, Simply Stockinette in Cascade 220 #9411 Olympic Rainforest Heather and #9445 Autum Heather for the heels and toes (these poor neglected ones took almost 2 years to complete).
